The Wood Law Office opened in 1993 after Ron worked as a public defender for 8 years along the Northern tier of Arizona. The office remains commmitted to defense of citizens and non-citizens charged with criminal conduct.
Ron has handled serious and sometimes high profile criminal cases from early in his career. His office has made a dedicated effort to provide the best defense possible to every client. That requires courage, ability, experience and hard work, both in and out of the Courtroom.
The seeds of a good defense are sown in the investigation and background work, knowing the Rules, knowing the issues.
That's what we do here.
Ron graduatied from Temple Law School in Philadelphia, moved to Arizona in 1985. He worked in Mohave and Navajo counties as a public defender, and is now a Criminal Specialist in private practice.
Trial work, and pretrial litigation requires preparation and skill. The issues must be developed, and then presented to the Court the right way.
Don't think the State or the government is simply going to give up or realize that you are innocent or over charged or wrongly accused. There will be a confrontation to make that reality clear. Get someone who has not only fought that fight before, but also comitted to continuing that fight now.
